When Sruthi was six years old, she sang for her father's movie Thevar Magan. She sang a duet with her father for Chachi 420 and the song Rama Rama for Hey Ram. More recently, she lent her voice for a song in Vaaranam Aayiram. She is the music composer for her father's recent release movie Unnaipol Oruvan, which is a remake of the Bollywood movie A Wednesday.
